Hi, I’m Karlee Starr — the mama behind the magic at Starr Creations Handmade!

I’m a 28-year-old single mom to my sweet girl, Willow Starr, and she’s a huge part of the heart behind everything I do.

My sewing journey started when I was just six years old, when my grandma gifted me a little Bratz sewing machine. I had no idea back then just how much that little gift would shape my future!

Years later, as a mama doing my best to make ends meet while living with multiple autoimmune diseases, I found myself getting creative in ways I never imagined. There were times when money was so tight that I couldn’t even afford diapers, so I started cutting up my own leggings and turning them into little bummies for my girl. What started as a way to make things work for my family slowly grew into something so much bigger.

Today, I work full-time as a customer service representative for one of the largest distribution centers in the country, while continuing to pour my heart into the business I’ve built. My experience working with customers has taught me so much about communication, customer care, and making sure every person who shops with me feels valued.

At Starr Creations Handmade, every single piece is 100% hand-cut, hand-sewn, and handcrafted by me, with love and care put into every detail.

This little business means so much more to me than just sewing clothes. It represents motherhood, perseverance, creativity, and turning some of life’s hardest moments into something beautiful.
